Can I find a family to adopt me even though I'm an adult?

You are an adult now. You're NOT a child anymore. I really don't have any advice for you if you are not willing to get a job in order to live on your own. Like the person above me said, you can't get adopted just because you don't want to support yourself. Some of us have to. That's just how it works. If you really wanted to go to school and simultaneously support yourself, which you should be, then you'd do it. Look, I know plenty of people who work full time and go to school full time. Not part time. It's not ideal I guess, but it is possible. These things just happen, and you have to go with it. You are an adult now. If you have to go to college, maybe you should put it off in order to get yourself established first. You have to have somewhere live. I hate to say it, but welcome to the real world where things do not always go as planned. I'm sorry about your current state, and I CAN relate, but you have to fix your own problems now that you're 18. How long would you continue to live dependent of someone else if you could? If you can't answer that, then that's not a good sign.
