you're right, it would take many millions $. but as proven by several failed attempts in the past 25 yrs( ie.indian) it would not be profitable. americans will not pay the price recquired to build a quality machine here in the us, where manufactoring costs are high. we want quality, but we want it cheap,so we buy korean shirts and jap bikes. most rich folks are also smart,so will not start a doomed endeavor.
