Do female bosses treat their staff the same way they treat their children?

In the first job I had after college, I had two separate bosses. Both were females who had children. The first one had two teenage daughters. The second had three little girls ages 6-11. I swear, they both treated the entire staff the same way I'd imagine them treating their kids. The one with the younger children had a, "let's all hold hands and play nice" attitude. The other one with the teenagers treated everyone like they were misbehaving kids playing past their curfew. Was this a coincidence, or is this common among female bosses with kids?
